The FENSA scheme was set up in 2002 to ensure consumers could have confidence in the quality of work done when having double glazing, doors or roof lights installed within England and Wales. In order to keep our TrustMark status, VPS247 has to prove that we’re not only employing a skilled and friendly workforce, but that we’re fully insured, that we have a good trading record and financial status, and that our customer care is second to none.

These certificates from the National Quality Assurance scheme are important to show that we’re a leader in our industry. The NQA provides training and support for VPS247 as well as testing to see if we’re good enough to achieve the various certifications. This particular certificate – the 9001 – shows we have achieved an important general standard of quality. It covers things like customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, training, risk management etc.
As the world changes and the environment becomes a vital consideration, we believe that it’s important we’re having as little impact on the planet as possible. We’ve achieved this ISO 14001 certificate through having a strong environmental policy, ensuring pollution prevention and managing where our resources come from. Corporate responsibility is high up on the list of attributes we need to keep this certificate, as is legal compliance. We take the environment seriously and believe this is an important certificate for all businesses to have, no matter what the industry.

He works closely with all departments to make sure that we are always serving the public interest in a safe and controlled way.
Another health & safety certification, SAFE Contractor covers the whole of VPS247 as a business, rather than just one individual. SAFE Contractor reviews and audits our health & safety policies to ensure that we’re doing everything correctly and that we’re being compliant with all rules and regulations. When we work with other businesses or when we’re contracted by larger companies to do a certain job, this certification gives them peace of mind. It shows that we work to a high standard and that we’re fully aware of all laws and guidelines.
CHAS work in much the same way as SAFE Contractor (see above), demonstrating to other companies that VPS247 are knowledgeable and tested to a high level in all aspects of health & safety. We are assessed on our policy surrounding safety, how organised we are and our specific health & safety arrangements. VPS247 must meet and exceed nationally recognised standards in order to achieve the CHAS certification. We’re tested regularly for all health & safety credentials, so you can be assured that we never let standards slip.
